MaxCyte launches Expert cell engineering products

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

June 25, 2020 -- Cell-based medicines and life sciences company MaxCyte has launched a new line of disposable cell engineering products.

The Expert line of disposables was created in response to customer feedback requesting new processing volumes for growing fields, such as cellular therapy and gene editing. The first product in the line is the R-100 curvette, which can process up to 1 milliliter or 200 million cells.

The R-100 curvette can be used with MaxCyte's electroporation instrumentation, including the Expert Atx, Stx, and Gtx. It was designed for use by companies developing cell therapy drugs or working in early drug discovery, according to the company.
