The capital was raised globally from existing and new blue-chip institutional investors, including endowments and foundations, sovereign wealth funds, pensions, financial institutions, family offices, funds of funds, and notable individuals, the company said.

Vida has assembled a team of scientists and strategic advisers who will focus on identifying science and company building in areas of drug discovery and development.
