Akoya posts positive results in Q1

May 19, 2021 -- Spatial biology tools company Akoya Biosciences reported growth in revenues and gross profits for the first quarter of 2021.

The company reported total revenues of $12.2 million for the first quarter of 2021 (end-March 31), an increase of approximately 11% from the $11 million posted during the same period in 2020.

Gross profits were $7.4 million in the first quarter of 2021. This is an approximately 10% increase from the $6.7 million reported in the first quarter of 2020. For each period, the gross profit margin was about 61%, according to the firm.
