NanoString posts higher revenues, lower net loss in Q1

May 11, 2021 -- Strong growth in product and service revenues helped NanoString Technologies reach 18.8% total revenue growth and a lower net loss in its first quarter.

For the period (end-March 31), NanoString had total revenues of $31.6 million, up from $26.6 million from the first quarter of 2020. Quarterly highlights included a 28% increase in product and service revenue.

NanoString had a first-quarter net loss of $27.7 million, compared with a net loss of $38.6 million from the same period a year ago.
