NanoString forms group to set spatial research standards

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

September 9, 2020 -- NanoString Technologies has formed a leadership network to pioneer the application of spatial biology in large studies.

The GeoMx Translational Leadership Network, which currently includes members of the GeoMx's breast cancer and COVID-19 consortia, aims to facilitate collaboration among institutions by setting and sharing standardized practices among researchers.

NanoString hopes to expand and is accepting applications for new members to form future consortia for oncology, immunology, and neuroscience research spanning discovery, translational, and clinical applications. Members will have access to exclusive product development updates, early access to new reagents, and support to enable multi-institution studies.
