Sartorius to open new plant in Mich.

September 28, 2021 -- Life science research firm Sartorius plans to expand its North American business by building a new 130,000-sq-ft plant in Ann Arbor, MI. The new facility is part of Sartorius' ongoing worldwide expansion.

The company has purchased more than 15 acres of land in the Ann Arbor Research Park area for the facility, and it expects the project to create 160 jobs over three years.

The new plant will open in late 2023, according to the firm.
