April 20, 2022 -- ValGenesis has released an updated version of the ValGenesis e-Logbook application with improved regulatory capabilities to better meet the demand of the life sciences industry.

ValGenesis' e-Logbook simplifies the review and approval process of regulated documents with high traceability for auditing purposes. The application also utilizes QR-code scanning, data reporting, data trending, validated calculations, and automated report generation to ensure efficient and uninterrupted manufacturing activities through all steps of the process.

The cloud-based application is compliant with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's part 11 regulations and the European Union's annex 11 rules. It also has security features and scale to be extended across thousands of users internationally, according to the company.

The app can function both online and offline, and it utilizes configurable electronic forms and data automation to facilitate workflows throughout a manufacturing facility. The customizability of these forms enables tailored and standardized process execution for each individual facility.

Furthermore, the ValGenesis e-Logbook can be used on a mobile device while still maintaining security features. This promotes data integrity and quality while still ensuring efficiency. Searchable digital archives of this data also allow for accessible information to provide during inspections.
