April 2, 2021 -- Sciex has appointed Joe Fox as president effective April 1, taking over for Inese Lowenstein.

Lowenstein led Sciex for four years and recently transitioned to become a senior talent adviser at Danaher, where she is responsible for new president coaching, Danaher Business System immersion tool development, and advising on other initiatives.

Fox will focus on extending Sciex's leadership in quantitative liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS). He also will oversee the launch of technologies later in 2021.

Fox joined the firm in 2011 and most recently was senior vice president of global sales and service.
