By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

June 6, 2022 -- Volta Labs is highlighting new digital fluidics technology at the Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) General Meeting held June 6-9 in Orlando, FL.

The company is building a sequencing technology-agnostic platform to lower the cost of biologic sample preparation and library preparation that is slated to be released in 2023. At the general meeting, Volta Labs will be sharing talks about digital fluidics technology that can be used in a "push button" sample to sequencer agnostic workflow; RNA extraction for short and long read sequencing; and automated high molecular weight DNA extraction and library prep.

Also at the general meeting, Volta Labs will share numerous posters on DNA extraction and library prep.
