Axion BioSystems acquires Cytosmart Technologies

March 22, 2022 -- Life sciences firm Axion BioSystems has acquired Netherlands-based Cytosmart, a company specializing in kinetic live-cell imaging analysis.

The acquisition positions Axion for significant expansion in stem cell research, immuno-oncology, cell-based therapies, and drug discovery, the firm said.

Axion had recently acquired M-Solv Manufacturing Limited. The company said the acquisitions expand Axion's offerings and opportunities in the life sciences tools market.
