Quantum-Si to relocate closer to Yale

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

January 5, 2022 -- Quantum-Si, developer of a protein sequencing platform, has signed a lease to relocate to Winchester Works in New Haven, CT. The new headquarters will be located across the street from Yale University’s Science Hill.

The facility will comprise a mixed-use space that is approximately 65,000 sq ft and will house office and core R&D space. The relocation, which will begin in the first half of 2022, supports the launch of the company’s new product development and operations facility in San Diego, which opened in the third quarter of 2021.

Quantum-Si’s technologies are powered by a first-of-its-kind semiconductor chip that is designed to enable single-molecule next-generation protein sequencing and digitize proteomic research to advance drug discovery and diagnostics beyond what has been possible with DNA sequencing.
