By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

October 4, 2021 -- Purolite has brought to market two new affinity chromatography resins, Praesto Jetted A50 HipH and Praesto Jetted (dT)18-DVB.

Praesto Jetted A50 HipH is a protein A alkaline-stable resin based on a 50-µm uniform agarose bead, the company said. It is intended to help purify pH-sensitive antibodies or other Fc-containing proteins. Its "jetting" technology produces uniformly-sized agarose beads, according to Purolite. This resin also features Repligen's Protein A ligand, NGL-Impact A Hi pH.

Praesto Jetted (dT)18-DVB is a 50-µm styrene-jetted-based resin for purifying mRNA used in vaccines and gene therapy, Purolite said.
