Andelyn selects TetraScience's data platform

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

August 25, 2021 -- Andelyn Biosciences, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) for cell and gene therapies, has selected the Tetra Data Platform (TDP) from TetraScience to build a cloud-native service for the development and manufacturing of therapeutics.

Andelyn's use of the TDP will enable more autonomous operation, increased compliance, easier analysis, faster decisions, improved process monitoring and control, increased data integrity, and more agile operations, said TetraScience. Additionally, the platform will provide Andelyn's customers with a "connected plant" that provides secure, convenient access to harmonized data from building and facilities, process and manufacturing, and lab instrument sources that are prepared for analytics and visualization.

Initial implementation will be focused on acquiring and harmonizing historical data. Andelyn expects to complete the rollout of its connected plant with additional data sources and instruments and ultimately launch a digital CDMO experience for their customers.
