March 11, 2021 -- Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) has acquired Swift Biosciences for an undisclosed amount.

Swift Biosciences develops next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation genomics kits for academic, translational, and clinical research. The acquisition complements IDT's existing portfolio of nucleic acid products for academic and commercial research, including pharmaceutical development and synthetic biology applications.

Swift associates and products will transition into IDT while continuing to operate from the company's existing facilities in Ann Arbor, MI.

IDT is an operating company within Danaher's Life Sciences platform. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
