February 10, 2021 -- Rare disease patient advocacy organization Global Genes will publish a multimedia series about advances in gene therapy and gene editing technology throughout 2021.

Titled, "Platforms of Hope: Advances in Gene Therapy and Gene Editing," the series is being created in collaboration with thought leaders from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, the U.S. National Institute of Health Common Fund Somatic Cell Genome Editing program, and others.

At the end of 2021, the organization will publish a special report on gene therapy and gene editing innovation that will focus on efforts to accelerate the translation of discoveries into genetic medicines that benefit patients with rare diseases.
