Mettler-Toledo announces CEO transition

December 16, 2020 -- Mettler-Toledo International has announced that Patrick Kaltenbach will take over as CEO in the spring.

Kaltenbach, Becton Dickinson's president of the life sciences segment, will replace Olivier Filliol, who will step down from the position after 13 years. Kaltenbach will join the company in January but won't start leading the company until April 1, 2021. Filliol will remain a member of the company's board of directors and will handle some marketing and other organizational matters.
