June 2, 2020 -- Clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Ryvu Therapeutics has completed the construction of its Research and Development (R&D) Center for Innovative Drugs.
The center will help Ryvu expand and accelerate its drug research, the company noted. It features 32,300 square feet of laboratory space and will house multiple types of laboratories, including medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, cell and molecular, and analytical chemistry.
The six-floor facility is located in a special economic zone of Krakow, Poland, that provides tax incentives for local companies. It is also near Jagiellonian University and on a street named in honor of the doctor who created the commonly prescribed drug Valium.
Ryvu has obtained occupancy permits and intends to move into the new headquarters at the end of June 2020. However, an official public opening ceremony will not take place until the fall to comply with COVID-19 pandemic regulations.
