April 15, 2020 -- A series of new initiatives aims to simplify scientific literature discovery and acquisition during the COVID-19 crisis, according to Research Solutions. These products include the launch of the COVID-19 Research Viewer Gadget.

The COVID-19 Research Viewer Gadget provides an up-to-date listing of COVID-19 scientific literature. The collection includes publications across publishers that have committed to removing paywalls from COVID-19 articles. The platform uses PubMed as a data source, displays thousands of articles at a glance, and can be filtered by most requested, most recent, and publisher.

The site also features an interactive map with the current number of confirmed cases and mortality statistics. Research Solutions will continue to make further enhancements to the gadget and has made the tool available free of charge to customers.
