October 12, 2021 -- Aceto has acquired A&C Bio Buffer, a good manufacturing practices (GMP) manufacturer of custom buffer and chemical blend products used in biopharmaceutical drug manufacturing.
The deal, which comes on the heels of Aceto's acquisition of A&C in July, will expand the firm's GMP product lines for biopharmaceutical and vaccine manufacturing, according to Aceto. It also increases Aceto's European manufacturing footprint and commercial presence. A&C Bio Buffer currently manufactures over 50 products -- including biological buffers, process solutions, cleaning solutions, and Water for Injection -- at its manufacturing facility in Limerick, Ireland.
A&C Bio Buffer's manufacturing facilities and offices in Ireland will continue to be supported by Aceto. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
