By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

June 10, 2022 -- Illumina is debuting a new product and sharing presentations at the Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) General Meeting taking place June 6-9 in Orlando, FL. The new product release, the 600-cycle kit on NextSeq 1000/2000, is slated for launch later this year and supports customers looking to scale from the MiSeq system.

The firm will present information on Illumina's informatics software, including Dynamic Read Analysis for Genomics (DRAGEN) Bio-It and Illumina Connected Analytics. In other sessions, Illumina will share how its technology can resolve complex structural variants and has the functionality to generate phased data across the highly polymorphic human leukocyte antigen regions to assign haplotypes.

Also on the docket are a talk about how Illumina plans to scale and expand access to its next-generation sequencing platforms; the latest advances in Illumina's whole-genome offering and the potential of emerging genomics technologies; Illumina's end-to-end solution for connecting samples to genomic insights; and more.
