December 22, 2021 -- Insightful Science has completed its transaction to acquire Protein Metrics. The acquisition expands the company's R&D value chain, and it will help resolve data analysis bottlenecks currently associated with large-scale protein studies, Insightful said.
Protein Metrics provides a platform for protein analytical study from research to industrial production. Protein Metrics' software allows scientists to perform highly accurate analyses on data generated from all major commercially available liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, and mass spectrometry platforms, the company said.
The terms of the financial agreement were not disclosed.
Insightful Science is a privately held portfolio company of Insight Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm.
