Waters taps new executives

April 21, 2021 -- Lab equipment supplier Waters has announced several leadership appointments and retirements.

The following appointments were made:

  • Amol Chaubal, formerly of Quanterix, was named senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective May 12.
  • Michael Silveira, who served as interim chief financial officer since January 2021, was named chief accounting officer, and will resume his post as corporate controller, effective May 12.
  • Jonathan Pratt, who served as president of TA Instruments, was named senior vice president of Waters' new global products and markets division, effective May 1.
  • Jianqing Bennett, who served as senior vice president, high growth markets at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, has been named senior vice president of TA Instruments division, effective May 1.

Also, Waters announced that Mike Harrington, PhD, senior vice president of global markets, and Ian King, senior vice president of global products will retire, effective July 2.
