The GC automated sampling capabilities reduce hands-on time and human error, and the automated headspace/pneumatics technology enables precision, the firm said.

The product also has an accompanying wireless, touchscreen tablet interface running the PerkinElmer Simplicity Vision app and PerkinElmer SimplicityChrom Chromatography Data System software. The software reduces user training and guides teams through their entire GC workflow and is customizable to address user's unique data, notification, and diagnostic requirements.

The product has built-in sensors, a software-driven gas saver mode to reduce operational gas consumption, and it supports carrier gas alternatives such as hydrogen.
