By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

July 14, 2021 -- Lexogen has validated two workflows that aim to improve SARS-CoV-2 sequencing for tracing variants of the virus.

SARS-CoV-2 Artic Panel for Illumina is a multiplexed amplicon-based whole genome sequencing approach for SARS-CoV-2, which was developed by an international consortium of researchers known as the ARTIC Network.

Meanwhile, Corall RNA-seq with SARS-CoV-2 sequence enrichment is a complete workflow with postlibrary prep enrichment that enriches even variants with significant mutations and rearrangements.
