Colorcon Ventures invests in Apprentice

January 21, 2022 -- Colorcon Ventures has invested in Apprentice, a provider of intelligent manufacturing execution systems designed specifically for the life sciences industry. Apprentice offers a dynamic, end-to-end platform with software applications that are designed to streamline batch-based manufacturing and remote collaboration.

Apprentice's solutions include intelligent batch execution, augmented procedures and workflows, predictive resource management, and immersive training. According to the companies, the platform becomes more intuitive over time, using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and augmented reality to help organizations improve yield, quality, and speed to market.

Colorcon Ventures joins other investors who participated in Apprentice's recently announced series C financing round, including Alkeon Capital Management, Insight Partners, Pacific West Bank, Silverton Partners, GFR Fund, and the Venture Reality Fund. No further financial details were disclosed.
