May 11, 2021 -- Sciex and Waters have inked a deal to provide integrated liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC-MC) systems.

As a result, purchasers of Sciex MS systems will also be able to acquire configured and interoperable Waters LC systems, according to the vendors. The firms have developed instrument control drivers that allow Sciex OS software to directly control Waters' Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) Acquity I-Class Plus systems, as well as its H-Class Plus, H-Class Plus Bio, and M-Class instruments.

The companies said they will also provide coordinated service; Sciex will support the full customer relationship, while Waters will provide direct service and support.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
