June 28, 2021 -- Waters has expanded its existing collaboration with the Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI), a research entity in Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology, and Research.

As part of the expanded partnership, Waters and BTI will identify and visualize molecules within glycomics and metabolomics data to improve the safety, accuracy, and speed of biologics manufacturing, according to the two firms. The collaboration will focus on molecules such as N- and O-glycans and metabolites that affect the function of therapeutics.

Waters plans to contribute its scientific expertise and instruments such as its Synapt series mass spectrometry system and its BioAccord liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) System.
