Bio-Rad posts increased Q1 revenue during pandemic

May 8, 2020 -- For the quarter revenue increased to $571.6 million, compared with $554 million in the first quarter of 2019. Meanwhile, net income in the first quarter plummeted to $685.9 million from approximately $865 million in the same quarter a year ago.

The company's President and CEO Norman Schwartz said he was pleased with the results given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
