October 25, 2021 -- Polaris Biology has released a new mass cytometry system called Starion.

The cytometer allows for analysis of more than 40 parameters at a single-cell resolution. The resolution is produced by metal isotope labeling, the company said. Using barcoding technology, Starion can analyze 120 individual samples in one assay, and it includes antibodies, panel kits, and multidimensional data visualization tools.

The instrument is ideal for healthcare, academic, and scientific research settings, according to the firm.
