Quantori increases drug development efficiency with HPC Accelerator

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

May 10, 2022 -- Quantori has launched its High-Performance Computing (HPC) Accelerator to provide stronger computing capabilities to the drug discovery and development processes. HPC technology utilizes advanced computational technology to better manage large amounts of data. Within the realm of drug discovery, this allows for more efficient quantification and manipulation of clinical and preclinical data.

The HPC Accelerator can be used for a variety of scientific applications relevant to drug discovery, including genomics, sequencing, cell image analysis, computational chemistry, and electron microscopy techniques like cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM). The data harnessed from the HPC Accelerator promotes the generation of greater knowledge at low costs through large-scale data processing. As a result, the technology results in a shorter drug discovery timeline, while providing high amounts of extensively processed data in an adaptable and consistent manner for its users.
