April 29, 2022 -- At the Cell & Gene Meeting on the Med (MOTM) in Barcelona, Spain, ScienceBoard.net spoke with Louis Hendriks, managing director at Global Value Web (GVW), and Vasu Rangadass, president and CEO at L7 Informatics, about the collaboration between the companies.
GVW is a data management company specializing in the life sciences, while L7 has developed a technology platform designed to eliminate data and process silos in the life sciences. At MOTM 2022, Hendriks and Rangadass discussed their shared focus on the process life cycle, and the challenges of integrating datasets and bridging the gap between life sciences and healthcare data.
"We have to connect first before making it perfect. I think that the technology of L7 can play a massive role in it. I don't know anything else in this market that compares to that," Hendriks said.
Bridging gaps and making connections with data are especially important in the cell and gene therapy sector, the nature of which demands a shift in focus from final product to process.
"In cell and gene therapies, the actual process is the product," Rangadass explained.
