By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

April 12, 2022 -- Agilent Technologies will display its cancer research tools for the enhanced study of cell functionality, characteristics, and other properties at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) 2022 Annual Meeting held in New Orleans.

The company will present the Agilent Magnis next-generation sequencing (NGS) prep system, its automated benchtop solution to improve cell analysis and assays. This system includes an onboard wizard to aid in the fast setup of cell assays in under five minutes. The tool will aid researchers in characterizing samples with high efficiency at reduced costs compared to traditional methods, the company said.

Agilent's second tool is the Agilent XF Pro Analyzer, which can be used for real-time cell analysis and monitoring. This tool also has capabilities for optimized data analysis and interpretation to be applied toward therapeutic drug or biologic development. This capability also allows for improved disease model generation and helps to identify drug targets, Agilent said.
