Agilent highlights integrated automation solutions at SLAS 2022

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

February 8, 2022 -- Agilent integrated automation solutions highlighted several new innovations, including the BioTek BioSpa Live Cell Analysis System, at the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) 2022 conference.

The system comprises the BioTek Cytation C10 Confocal Imaging Reader, which combines automated confocal and wide-field microscopy with conventional multimode microplate reading, and the BioTek BioSpa 8 Automated Incubator. This product combination provides fully automated, live-cell-imaging workflows in up to eight microplates at a time, the company said.

Other solutions the company highlighted include Agilent's Bravo automation portfolio, which is powered by VWorks version 14.1. VWorks provides an intuitive user interface that simplifies and drives laboratory automation integration.

Finally, BenchCel Workstation, an automated microplate handler, is also included in Agilent platform while the new AssayMAP Bravo software and large-capacity cartridges enable the AssayMAP Bravo to be used more efficiently during development and in regulated environments, such as quality assurance.

Agilent modular automation solutions address a wide array of cell analysis, mass spectrometry, and genomics workflows in both development and regulated environments.
