Meeting on the Mesa ramps up rules on COVID-19 vaccination, testing

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

August 24, 2021 -- The Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM) has implemented new rules for its Cell & Gene Meeting on the Mesa, which is scheduled for October 12-14, 2021, that require attendees to either provide proof of vaccination from COVID-19 or a negative COVID test.

In an August 24 email to registered attendees, ARM said it would be announcing new health and safety requirements for the conference that required either vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test completed within 72 hours of the start date of the event.

ARM advised registered Meeting on the Mesa attendees to upload a digital copy of their vaccination record or negative COVID test to their web-based registration page, available on the meeting's website. Meeting registrants who do not wish to comply with the new requirements have until September 1 to request a refund of their registration fee, according to the group.
