Medidata debuts patient engagement registries for clinical trials

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

June 8, 2021 -- Medidata has expanded its myMedidata patient portal with myMedidata Registries, a new technology designed to facilitate engagement with patients before and after clinical trials.

Patients can use myMedidata Registries to learn more about clinical trial opportunities and actively participate throughout their clinical trial journey, according to the company. It provides continuous support for patients in and out of a trial, Medidata said.

For trial sponsors, myMedidata Registries serves as a unified ecosystem for patient identification, study execution, and end-of-study patient communications, according to the vendor. Introduced initially in the U.S., myMedidata Registries will also be available in other countries in the future, the company said.
