November 17, 2020 -- PerkinElmer has debuted its LC 300 platform and SimplicityChrom software, a package designed to combine high-performance liquid chromatography and ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography with instrument control and data analysis.
Suitable for labs in multiple industries including pharmaceuticals, LC 300 provides ultraprecise gradient flows and low levels of dispersion, according to the vendor. Its autosampler features a built-in column oven and a color liquid-crystal display (LCD) screen that displays key status results without forcing users to log in to chromatography data system (CDS) software, PerkinElmer said. LC300 is available with multiple detector options and third-party driver support for commercially available CDS software.
The accompanying SimplicityChrom software enables customized workflows and supports 21 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 11 compliance, according to the firm. What's more, the software provides proactive alerts on consumable usage and required maintenance.
