PHC, On-chip Biotech partner on cell culture applications

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

October 28, 2020 -- PHC and On-chip Biotechnologies are partnering to deliver total cell culturing solutions for researchers and organizations across a wide range of applications.

The flagship product is On-chip Sort, a cell sorter that uses a disposable microfluidic chip for sterile, damage-free, contamination-free sorting. The platform, originally developed by On-chip, delivers precise cell sorting while avoiding contamination and enables analysis of cells suspended in the user's choice of culture medium.

This technology complements PHC's PHCbi portfolio of incubators, which are designed to maintain optimal temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, and oxygen levels for mammalian cell growth.
