October 26, 2020 -- TFF Pharmaceuticals has expanded its relationship with Experic, a contract manufacturing organization, to install a thin-film freezing (TFF) processing line at Experic's current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) facility in Cranbury, NJ.
Installation of the equipment is expected to be completed in 2021. The site will be the third cGMP manufacturing location containing TFF technology. The TFF platform is designed to improve the solubility and absorption of poor water-soluble drugs and is suited to generate drug powder particles with properties targeted for inhalation delivery, according to the firm.
Experic specializes in dosing and packaging formats, including capsule filling, powder and pellet dosing, and autoinjectors and pen assemblies.
