Gamma Biosciences acquires Nanopareil

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

October 1, 2020 -- Gamma Biosciences has purchased nanofiber membrane product developer Nanopareil.

Nanopareil's products are used for chromatographic separation in bioproduction and consist of a nanofiber structure that performs better than conventional chromatography resins, Gamma Biosciences said.

The company plans to manage Nanopareil as part of its Astrea Bioseparations subsidiary. The purchase will boost Astrea's ability to develop custom separation products for a range of biopharmaceutical applications, Gamma Biosciences said.
