TriNetX updates platform to support COVID-19 research

March 24, 2020 -- Global health research network TriNetX said that it has updated its real-world data platform to incorporate specific terminology for COVID-19 test results.

The new terminology includes diagnosis and Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC) terminology, as well as specific coding guidelines from the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. TriNetX said it's also collaborating with its network of 150 healthcare organizations to connect pharmaceutical companies that are open to receiving COVID-19 clinical trials and observational studies.
