Synthace, Tecan partner to accelerate process development

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

June 12, 2020 -- Synthace and the Tecan Group have partnered to use their shared resources to help customers run flexible, end-to-end multiplexed purification workflows.

The partnership will use Synthace's Antha software and Tecan's Te-Chrom automated chromatography system to translate experimental designs into machine-readable instructions for automated equipment. The companies will also work to automate aggregation and structuring of experimental data.

Customers will be able to use the Antha user interface for visual experimental design tools and experimental previews matched to Tecan liquid handling robot configurations. Antha will also automatically link Te-Chrom's analytical data, sample metadata, and experimental context.

The projects will enable customers to execute more ambitious experiments and reduce the risks of delays and human errors, the companies noted.
