Avantor invests in global hydration capabilities

August 31, 2021 -- Avantor has completed a major expansion of its European manufacturing facility in Gliwice, Poland, as part of a multiyear investment in its global hydration capabilities.

In addition, the firm began a multistage expansion of its facility in Aurora, OH, that is expected to be completed by mid-2022. The expansion of its existing water for injection-quality water buffer manufacturing capabilities will dramatically increase Avantor's capacity to support biopharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide, the company said.
