February 12, 2020 -- Arbor Biosciences announced on February 12 that it will release its myBaits Expert hybridization-based panel for detecting infection with the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). The next-generation sequencing (NGS) panel will be offered free of charge to global researchers helping to identify the source organism and evolution of the virus.

Arbor Biosciences produced the new 2019-nCoV panel in just one week following a request from the research community. The panel is based on full and partial genome sequences available in the U.S. National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database as of January 31, 2020.

Arbor Biosciences is actively accepting requests for the panel, which is available for immediate shipment, on its website and through email.
