September 15, 2021 -- Lab equipment supplier Waters has introduced the BioAccord system with Acquity Premier, a liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) system designed to simplify the multiattribute monitoring of biotherapeutics.

BioAccord is a compact benchtop LC-MS system that combines the company's BioAccord platform with its Acquity RDA mass detector and MaxPeak high-performance surface technology.

The system is designed to improve analyte recovery and assay-to-assay reproducibility, according to Waters. It eliminates analyte-to-metal surface interactions, which in turn can significantly enhance the recovery of hard-to-detect samples, the firm said.

Shipments are expected to begin in late September.
