February 11, 2020 -- Jessica Bosc, director of business development and licensing at Selexis, has been named president of Women in Bio (WIB), following a one-year term as president-elect.

Founded in 2002 to support women employed in the field of life sciences, WIB has 13 chapters in North America. Bosc began volunteering with the organization's Boston chapter in 2016.

"Through my volunteer efforts with WIB, I've been able to leverage my passion for mentorship and work alongside scores of like-minded women working to make positive and lasting changes in our industry," Bosc stated in a press release. "I am deeply honored to continue leading WIB in my new role as president."

Selexis is a biopharmaceutical company focused on cell line development and advanced gene therapy platforms. At the company, Bosc is responsible for growing and maintaining partner relationships in the eastern U.S.
