Captivate Bio to offer DenovoMatrix cell culture products in U.S.

April 6, 2021 -- Captivate Bio has signed an agreement with German biotechnology firm DenovoMatrix to become the company's North American distributor of modular, biomimetic cell culture products for the cell therapy and cellular agricultural markets.

Specifically, Captivate Bio will distribute the firm's screenMatrix 96-well microplate system, as well as precoated consumables that promote chemically defined cell adhesion and expansion in serum-free, xeno-free induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) and mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) culture applications, according to Captivate Bio.

The DenovoMatrix consumables to be distributed by CaptivateBio will include the products myMatrixMSC and the newly released myMatrixiPSC.
