908 Devices adds data insights partners for Rebel system

June 22, 2021 -- 908 Devices announced two data analysis partnerships to integrate systems with its Rebel at-line fresh and spent cell media analyzer for bioprocess labs: Sartorius' Simca and Securecell's Lucullus process information management system (PIMS).

The integration provides connectivity into process and data analysis tools and leverages the multivariate modeling used in Simca to identify hidden trends and patterns not visible by univariate data analytic methods, the firm said.

Simca's integration also improves data visualization via interactive plots and analytics, as well as improves quality by design approaches.

With Securecell, Rebel users have access to critical process parameter (CPP) monitoring and data management from raw material to the final product, 908 Devices said. The PIMS creates automatic visualizations of trends in fresh or spent cell culture media, stores analytical results from medium quality control testing, and simplifies correlation of nutrients and metabolites.
