Cargill, Eagle Genomics partner on microbiome research

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

May 20, 2020 -- Eagle Genomics and Cargill Health Technologies have signed a multiyear platform agreement to accelerate microbiome and life sciences research and development.

Deploying Eagle Genomics' platform will enable Cargill to organize and analyze microbiome data that has been collected for the last 10 years. Eagle's artificial intelligence augmented knowledge discovery platform will enable Cargill to organize and synthesize microbiome data gathered over the past decade. Unique visualization and data valuation will help the companies reveal novel relationships between data entities at the microbiome scale.

The goal is to advance the understanding of the associations between the microbiome and digestive and immune health in humans and animals.
