Thermo Fisher Scientific releases nano and capillary emitters

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

February 18, 2021 -- Thermo Fisher Scientific has released a MAbPac reversed-phase capillary high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) column, as well as new nano and capillary emitters.

The MAbPac column allows for maximum reliability and performance, and the capillary format of the liquid chromatography column improves sensitivity, the company said. It is ideal for peptide mapping characterization and analysis of monoclonal antibody (mAb) fragments, antibody drug conjugates, and pegylated proteins, according to the firm.

The new columns can be used by proteomics, clinical peptides, and biopharmaceutical research laboratories to assist with HPLC or liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis.

The new nano and capillary emitters are compatible with the company's Easy-Spray source and Thermo Scientific FAIMS Pro source, it said.
