ILC Dover launches SoloPure aseptic isolator for (bio)pharma manufacturing

By The Science Advisory Board staff writers

April 13, 2021 -- ILC Dover has unveiled SoloPure, a flexible, aseptic isolator for sterile manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals.

Featuring a disposable, single-use chamber and a compact design, SoloPure provides a closed, Grade-A aseptic environment for fill/finish activities that require positive and negative pressures, according to the company. It provides organizations with facility constraints or expensive close-barrier systems another way to handle sterile potent powders, ILC Dover said.

SoloPure maximizes efficiency and productivity in the cleanroom, reduces costs while expanding capabilities, and mitigates risk through safe and fully compliant features.

SoloPure is available with the capability to sterilize in-place with vaporized hydrogen peroxide or to operate with a single-use, disposable gamma-irradiated chamber, the company said. It can also be ordered as a turnkey package.
